Job hunting today isn’t easy - everyone’s expected to show off their skills and projects. Many are picking up new skills through upskilling programs, but not everyone knows how to build an online portfolio. For students and early professionals, it’s even tougher when there’s little experience to showcase.
MiCapsa is a user-friendly tool that helps professionals create authentic portfolios through tailored assignments, effectively showcasing skills and simplifying the job search process.

I took on the challenge as lead designer, starting with basic wireframes and transforming them into a clean, modern design. I created a brand style guide and shaped a user-friendly interface that feels professional yet approachable—balancing functionality with a warm, millennial vibe.
By wanting to make things easier for juniors, we created an index of tasks. It’s not always easy to find work or small projects to showcase, so we developed tasks at three levels for various digital professions. This way, a user can simply enter the relevant task pool and start completing tasks according to their level to present to recruiters and include in their portfolio.
Assignments Index
Personal Information Panel: Shows your profile picture, name, role, professional description, activity stats, skills and ability tags, and contact options — all easily editable and shareable. (1)
Your Work: Displays your completed tasks with name, description, level, views count, and share options. (2)
Navigation Buttons: Lets you create a new task or pick one from the existing task index. (3)

Custom Task Creation: If you choose to create a task yourself, you can control different parameters like the field or profession (1), general details and level — Junior, Mid, or Senior (2), estimated time to complete and the solution for the problem (3).
