MegaTok was born in the middle of the COVID era - a time when podcasts exploded, attention spans shrank, and people craved quick, meaningful content they could consume on the move.
expressive audio platform unlike anything in traditional podcast apps
MegaTok started during the podcast boom, when everyone loved audio but few had time for 40-minute episodes. No platform focused on ultra-short content—so we built one. A place where 7-minute audio clips became the new way to share ideas, stories, and conversations.
Research showed listeners wanted quick, meaningful content, and creators wanted something easier than running a full podcast. MegaTok became the middle ground: fast to make, effortless to consume, and built for social interaction.
As the product designer, I defined the mobile-first experience, shaped the interaction model for short audio, and created a visual identity that felt energetic, lightweight, and simple enough for anyone to start creating within seconds.
We built the platform around three core principles:
Affiliate tools helped influencers build communities and monetize their reach.
Debate Spaces turned listeners into participants, making audio feel conversational, not passive.
Create a Tok in under 90 seconds - record, trim, add effects, publish. Fast and effortless.
Tok Filters and Effets

MegaTok evolved into a sleek, intuitive platform centered around short-form storytelling.
Users could browse channels, jump into debates, or create a Tok in moments all designed to match the speed of modern consumption.
Optimized for attention and quick discovery
for structured conversations
to support creator monetization
that made producing content feel effortles
MegaTok wasn’t just another audio app—it reimagined how people share and consume ideas in a fast-paced world. The goal wasn’t length; it was impact. Seven minutes became enough to inform, inspire, debate, or simply connect. On the go? Open MegaTok and join the voice revolution.
